Plan dungeon strategies here.
I figured it would be nice if we collected a bunch of tips and strategies. Maybe even hero builds for specific dungeons. Just so that way we can help everybody out and we'll start seeing more chars with dungeon book filled.
So lets get those creative juices flowing and figure out some of the best builds that'll blaze through those dungeons.

First tip - Never bring MM. Most of the time he is useless, and can only wand undead mobs. A Spoil Victor or Spiteful Spirit necro would be good for bosses and minibosses.
Bring some nukes, monsters like to bunch up in dungeons. Area-specific, like Water in a fire-like dungeon or vice versa are the best.
Use PvE-only skills, even if you are h/h'ing dungeons! They ARE great. Really, they are.
Ritualist spells like Shelter, Splinter Weapon, Union and so on are great too. Always try to bring a such rit or at least hero.

I normal run:
Earth ele (me)
Fire Ele (Cynn)
Tahlkora (healing)
Menhlo (healing)
Eve
Pyre (as a fiery nuker, like Charr seekers)
Gwen (as a dom mes)
Zho
Worked for me in almost every dungeon, the only time I wished I changed my build was in Catacombs of Kathendrax (I wanted ward against elements/harm).

Well off the top of my head, Finish him is pretty great and works against most things.

Yes I constantly use finish him and usually move like a dwarf. Nothing like knocking down a boss and crippling him in the middle of a bunch of savannah heat nukes.
Also just so you guys know asura skill pain inverter= imbalanced. It can solo the great destroyer by returning his damage so I imagine it can do quite some damage to any dungeon boss that hits hard.

For the final boss. People say that they have some trouble with the spirits. Isn't their a skill that automatically destroys spirits? I know the rit has 1 (another one is elite though). So couldn't that work to just destroy the spirits and let everyone whail on the final boss?

Definetly suggest a 55 monk with diversion to tank for a while worked great for us. A paragon with damage reduction. Nuker, Broadheadarrow ranger, 2 monks, and a tank. And another damage dealer.

Any good team set ups for Cathedral of Flames, as Temple of the Damned? I'm a warrior.
As for Sepulchre of Dragrimmar me and my monk friend run it often:
Warrior - axe war (me)
>Gwen - interupts with Power Block
Monk - LoD
Monk - ZB
>Pyre Fierceshot - interupts as well and a few damaging shots
>Vekk - SF nuker
>Hayda - motivation + spear
Herta - mainly for SS and wards
we don't clear the entire dungeon, we rush to the end for some boo-tay

Also, someone should try bringing a pain inverter (preferrably mesmer for signet of illlusion). Mesmer can bring backfire+ empathy as well as any title skills and make them max level with signet of illusions. Arcane echo also for double the pain inverter.

motivation isnt neccessary when they dont take that much damage.
Focused Anger
For Great Justice
Spear of Fury
"Save Yourselves"
TNTF
"Never Surrender" (can be swapped for something else, maybe "Stand Your Ground!")
"They're on Fire!"
Aggresive Refrain
12+3+1 leadership (i like this for the energy)
8+1 Command
and put the rest in Spear Mastery
Hasnt failed me yet.

no, it's there's nothing to fear, pve skill from right before gwen.
anyway, it seems to me that the point of this is really to find a fast, stable build for some short dungeon, possibly for farming purposes. that and to beat every dungeon, but i'm gonna focus on the first.
i haven't done eveyr dungeon yet, but of all the ones i've done Sepulchre of Dragrimmar seems to be the shortest. sure, say it's hard, but with the right build it's cake. just take an obsidian tank/derv. with so many spells flying around, it couldn't be easier. at least one LoD monk helps too, for when deep freeze/ice spikes/demonshard mist hit through.
three monks helps a lot, especially if you've got only 2 humans with heroes. protection monks seem to be pointless here, most damage comes from aoe spells. (except for those dervish enemies, but they're easy anyway, especially if the tank tanks them).
so, far, we have:
1 Obsidian Tank
1 LoD Monk
1 SB Monk
1 Other Monk (possibly another LoD, or just HB or WoH)
for the last 4 slots, we need: Damage, damage, and just a tad more damage. an interrupter could help a lot too. So...
3 SF Eles (SF just happens to be one of the most versatile and damaging AoE spells out there, especially with 3 of them on one team...it's also got no downtime if you need to pick off a small group)
1 BHA Ranger
The greatest thing about this build is that not a single one of these positions MUST be played by a human. The only one that would really be recommended is teh tank, but it's possible and even viable to just let koss do it. A human SB could help too, so you don't have to micromanage casting SB on the tank before he goes in.
Variations could include a necromancer or mesmer in place of the interrupter or one of the SF's, as an SS or anti-caster.
Note: I've yet to actually try this, and I'm sure I'd have to fix something up, but looking from the side it seem solid enough.

Just curious if anyone here has suggestions for which dungeon is the easiest to do for a beginner to sort of "get their feet wet". And possibly a suggested hero build for that?

The snowman dungeon is the most easiest, most foes are level 15.
you can get the quest from Koris deeprunner. It is a good place to farm Deldrimor point too.
